Powder VR Debuts Its Break-Neck Slopes In First Trailer

The first trailer for RainSoft Games’ Powder VR showcases break-neck slopes you’ll ski, snowboard and glide down.

I say break-neck, I don’t just mean because it’s fast-paced. In this dizzying take on VR you can collide with rails, walls and anything left in your way. Powder VR gives you an enormous mountain range to claim as your own. It’s chock full of massive drops, steep slopes and plenty of chances to show off your skills in challenges.

You’ll need to master control if you hope to survive. It also looks like the game includes a lot of fun extras, like shooting through a snowy city.

It certainly looks like a hardcore experience for those with iron stomachs. The game lets you swap between, skiing and snowboarding but also includes a wingsuit mode. Think of it as a snowy version of Rush.

Powder VR will be launching in Steam Early Access this December with support for all PC VR headsets. RainSoft says the game will likely be in pre-release for three to six months. Over the course of that period, the developer will add more mountains (totalling six) and even a free-roam heli-drop mode.

No word yet on a possible release on other platforms but we’ll let you know. Will you be picking up Powder VR? Let us know in the comments below!
