VR Escape Room Last Labyrinth Available Now On All Major VR Platforms

After a few delays earlier in the year, VR escape room Last Labyrinth is now available on all major VR platforms. The game is directed by Hiromichi Takahashi, who is best known as the co-creator of the ‘Sony Cat’ Toro Inoue, who was a mascot for PlayStation in Japan.

Last Labyrinth is available on Quest, PSVR, Rift, Vive, Windows MR headsets and the Valve Index. We were previously unsure whether the game would support Index at launch, however Valve’s headset is now listed on the game’s Steam page. This means that the game is available on pretty much every major VR platform at launch, which is quite an accomplishment.

The game is an escape room that was “created specifically for the VR age.” You’ll be bound to a wheelchair throughout the game, and the story sounds quite creepy. Jamie summed it up pretty well when the developers announced the Quest port back in July:

“A young girl named Katia assists you, responding to your commands to solve various puzzles. Get the right answer and you might escape with your life. Getting things wrong, however, results in a grizzly death. There’s a central mystery to the game about why you’ve been captured that we’re looking forward to unraveling.”

Sounds creepy! Last Labyrinth is just one game in a very big week for VR releases – Doctor Who: The Edge of Time just released, while Stormland and The Curious Tale of The Stolen Pets are both out on November 14. Keep an eye out for reviews of those games soon.

Last Labyrinth is available on the Steam, PlayStation and Oculus stores now.
